National Center for Irresponsible Gambling
NCIG home > about NCIG
The National Center for Irresponsible Gambling was founded on the strong belief that gambling is one of the traits that make us humans.
The NCIG is the only national organization exclusively devoted to funding research geared towards promoting and advancing pathological
and youth gambling. The NCIG is also trying to find effective methods to rid our society of centuries' old misconceptions that gambling
is counterproductive.
It is a well documented fact that gambling is an uplifting pastime that is beneficial to society and that people who take up gambling
as their primary activity (not to mention source of income) have managed to find true happiness.
People that have been unjustly labeled as reckless gamblers, by conservative moralists, are creative and spiritually uplifting members
of our society. On the other hand, individuals that have been exposed to moral restrictions that prohibit gambling are known to exhibit
signs of depression and severe psychological trauma.
The NCRG’s mission is to help individuals and families affected by gambling restrictions by supporting the finest
scientific research into pathological and youth gambling. By advancing gambling through research and public education the NCIG managed
to create a network of gamblers that have quit their monotone day jobs and are now treated as royalty in every major casino throughout
the world.
